I've added some new pictures to the choir website. Check out the Photo page as well as the albums. I have some pictures from Pops in the Park (yes, they're old, but oh well) and some from the recent piano building project from Chorus I.
Enjoy!!

New Message...finally!
Sorry I haven't posted in a couple weeks. As you know I've been busy with the play. I just wanted to let you know some things coming up this semester.
FIRST) no class has gotten 100% Practice Logs yet. The first class to achieve this will get cookies. Good luck. May the best class win.
SECOND) on April 12, Katie Armiger is going to come talk to us
about making it in the music industry. Katie is an up-and-coming country artist. She's based in Nashville.
Here's a video of her song, "Leaving Home"
THIRD) On May 5, the Young Ambassadors, a show choir from Brigham Young University (BYU) will be coming to Germantown to give a performance at GPAC. That afternoon, from 12-2, they will be meeting with/performing for our students. I'm very excited about this!!
Go HERE to watch videos of their performances.

Happy New Year!
Ok, so I know I'm 2 days early, but I wanted to post before I ran out of time this weekend. I hope everyone had a wonderful break. I just got back in town last night from my trip to Utah. The cabin the mountains was fantastic!
I hope everyone is ready for a new year! I've got some good stuff planned for all my classes and I'm really looking forward to it. Chamber and Chorale, I hope you are listening to Cloudburst to be ready for the spring.

One more week!
Only one more week of school until we have a nice break! If there are any outstanding assignments that you still have, please turn them in immediately!!
Chorale and Chamber, go to the Chamber Choir page on the website and I have a link for you down in the lower left-hand corner.
Start thinking now about Solo&Ensemble. I want to be more prepared than we were last year.

Great Concert!!
Just a quick note (like a 32nd)...
Great concert last night! I felt it went really well! I hope you felt proud of the job you did to make it a success!
As soon as I get audio tracks from the concert, I'll post them on our website.

Concert this week!!!
Hey everyone,
Just a quick reminder about what's going on this week. Dress rehearsal is Monday, Dec. 6 at 4:00. The concert is on Tuesday - you need to be there at 6:00 and the concert starts at 7:00. Both the dress rehearsal and the concert are happening at GPAC.
Also, this Wednesday is the final P.L. check of the semester. Anyone that is a "follower" of this blog by Wednesday night will get an extra point.
Lastly, check out the Choir website (see link in the right-hand menu) for new videos of the Student Live Listening Logs as well as audio tracks from the Chamber Choir performance from Borders (these won't be active until Monday).
